The ActionMaps is a strategic planning framework developed by David Shepherd exclusively for interior design firms, large and small. (Even sole practitioners.)
By creating an ActionMap, the design firm principal will learn how to trade complexity for simplicity, and chaos for calm. Priorities become clear and, in fact, laid out step-by-step for accomplishment.
During the ActionMap process (often just 6-8 weeks) clients will have an opportunity to evaluate every aspect of their business, and to compare their status to other top-performing firms. Many case studies are included.
Specifically, the ActionMap framework will leave you with:
- A renewed and clarified set of personal goals;
- A clear definition of your Ideal Client;
- A unique position for your firm that those Ideal Clients will be drawn toward;
- The five critical cores that you must master in order to own that position in the marketplace;
- The gaps in your expertise or systems that must be overcome to achieve this level of mastery;
- The specific actions you must take to close these gaps;
- The "story," of the cause and effect relationship between small actions, and the attainment of your highest business and personal goals.
